A HUNT has been launched for a new generation of TV drama directors, as part of a training scheme involving BBC Scotland.
Scotland Directs is, says BBC Scotland, “an initiative aimed at helping behind-the-camera talent to make the move into TV drama directing”.
Adds the BBC: “Up to six candidates will be offered the opportunity to take part in a four-day series of workshops, delivered by professionals currently working in continuing drama, designed to deliver hands-on insights into the challenge of shooting TV drama.
“From this group, two shortlisted candidates will be chosen to further their experience as part of a five-week long director shadowing placement later in the year on a BBC Scotland drama.”
Applications are required by the 24th of next month.
