The Scots TV presenter, Lorraine Kelly, is “TV royalty” and should be handed the reins of the ITV programme, Daybreak – according to a fellow columnist on The Scottish Sun.
Says Robin Galloway today, Kelly – who pens a column for The Sunday Post as well as The Scottish Sun – is trusted by her audience and “likeable without even trying”.
There have been several recent calls for Kelly to be given the Daybreak slot.
She presents her own show on ITV – from 8.30am – and Galloway says that, were she to take on Daybreak, she should not be asked to change her style, including “her trademark sweaters”.
Two days ago, Kelly left hospital, a week after being injured in a horse riding accident.
