The Scots TV presenter, Lorraine Kelly, is reported having left hospital, a week after she was injured following a horse riding accident.
Kelly – who also pens columns for The Scottish Sun and The Sunday Post newspapers – is said to have suffered a leg injury caused by her horse trampling on her.
She is quoted thanking – via twitter – hospital staff and the good wishes from the general public.
The Scottish Sun's cartoon today has a horse delivering flowers to a hospital, to be met by a receptionist saying: “You just missed Lorraine, didn't you get her tweet?”
And the Scottish Daily Mail today reports how Kelly is being tipped to take over ITV's Daybreak programme.
