NEWS that the Janice Forsyth Show on BBC Radio Scotland is to be axed as part of a schedule change has resulted in over 700 people signing an ePetition against the decision.
Both The Scotsman and The Herald – the former giving it a substantial show on page 5 of today’s edition – quote various well-known musicians, novelists, politicians and others expressing their dismay.
The Saturday show, which has been running for 18 years, is to make way for more speech-based radio during the day and music during the evening – from July.
