A PREVIEW show of the latest movies is returning to STV.
Moviejuice, being hosted by Grant Lauchlan, begins a 12-week run starting tomorrow evening, at 8pm.
Lauchlan will be joined tomorrow by film journalists, Siobhan Synnot and Hannah McGill, the former with Scotland on Sunday newspaper, the latter until relatively recently the artistic director of the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
The show will also feature a review of DVD releases.
In a statement issued by STV, Lauchlan is quoted as saying: “Scotland has had a long love affair with the movies. We have more cinema goers per head of population than anywhere in Europe and we deserve our own movie show. I’m really excited about the new show and I’m going to be interviewing some of the biggest stars on the planet with a few movie surprises along the way. With the awards season in full swing there couldn’t be a better time to kick off Moviejuice.”
