Ahead of its coverage of the rugby World Cup, STV is to air a documentary that following the Scotland team during their build-up to the tournament.
'Mud, Sweat and Tears' – screening on the sixth of next month at 8pm – follows the Scotland team during the two months leading up to their departure for New Zealand, where the World Cup is being held.
The documentary has been produced by STV in partnership with RBS and Scottish Rugby.
The observation documentary is 60 minutes long.
Scotland team player Kelly Brown, is quoted in a STV statement, as saying: “It was slightly strange at first being filmed but after a while we got used to it, the production team became part of the squad.”
Elizabeth Partyka, deputy director of Channels at STV, is also quoted, saying: “This documentary offers unique insight into the Scotland team at an extremely exciting and high-pressured time for them. We're delighted to be working with Scottish Rugby and RBS on this one-off documentary and I'm confident this documentary will hold appeal for both rugby fans and non-fans alike. It's a great addition to our autumn schedule.”

versus Romania – Saturday, September 10, at 2am
versus Georgia – Wednesday, September 14, at 8.30am
versus Scotland – Sunday, September 25, at 8.30am
versus Scotland – Saturday, October 1, at 8.30am
