A friendly football match is being staged tomorrow between presenters on radio station, Capital FM, and Edinburgh Fringe performers at the comedy venue, The Stand.
The inaugural Capital FM Challenge Cup will see The Stand United – comprising, among others, captain Gavin Webster, plus Marcus Birdman, Martin Mor and Simon Donald – take on a Capital FM team captain by breakfast show host, Des Clarke.
As it happens, Clarke is a regular on The Stand bill and is performing during the Fringe.
The match – five-a-side – is taking place tomorrow at the Lucozade Powerleague pitches, in Portobello, from 2pm.
