The radio station, Capital FM Scotland, has itself a new presenter, for its Saturday 8am-12pm slot.
Adele Cunningham was previously with Radio Clyde, which she joined two years ago, initially as a travel reporter before going on to co-present the station's breakfast show, with George Bowie. She has been presenting some evening shows for Capital during the last few weeks.
She started on Saturday, and as well as presenting on Capital, Cunningham also hosts the Nightshift show on STV.
In a statement issued by Capital, she is quoted, as saying: “It’s a privilege to be working with the Capital Scotland team, especially [managing director] Paul Cooney and [programme controller] Stuart Barrie, who I have always looked up to. I’m really excited to be working at Capital Scotland.”
