Aberdeen radio station, Northsound, was among the winners at an awards competition celebrating, say the organisers, “creative excellence in UK commercial radio production”.
The station took the title, Best Public Service Commercial, at the Vox Awards.
The winning commercial was for Grampian Fire and Rescue Service. It written by Ryan Ogilvie, produced by Martin Maclennan and was the only winning commercial from Scotland.
Ogilvie, Head of Creative at Northsound, told allmediascotland.com: “We’re absolutely delighted to win this award. Martin and I always strive to create powerful, creative, and effective radio commercials, and it’s great to have our hard work and passion for radio creative to be recognized in this way.”
