BBC Radio Scotland today launched a new programme – ’Sunday Mornings With Cathy MacDonald’ – two hours of music and conversation taking a faith and ethics-based view on today's world.
Says the BBC website: “Topical and where necessary provocative it takes the week's events and breaks them down into what it means to the individual and our society's values and beliefs. Complementing this are conversations with people who have something to say on how we live our lives; whether through their personal experiences, what they write or preach, or because they've dedicated themselves to making the world a better place.”
Bilingual, Lewis-born MacDonald is best known for hosting Scottish Gaelic television and radio programmes. Her new slot runs from 7-9am each Sunday.
