A FORMER programme director at Northern Ireland media group, UTV’s radio division, has been appointed in a similar role as Programe Director for Clyde 1 & Clyde 2.
John Dash has recently been working as working as a consultant and takes over from acting programme director at the Glasgow broadcaster, Andy Matthews.
He joins on Tuesday and has over 20 years’ experience in radio, including at Key 103, Galaxy Bristol and Wave 105. His role at UTV was for its UK-based stations, including talkSPORT, and he left at the end of 2008, following a restructuring.
Matthews temporarily replaced for Paul Saunders, who was let go by the company last year . Said a spokesperson for owners, Bauer Media, of Matthews: “He will remain with the Clyde 1 and Clyde 2 production and programing teams for a handover period.”
