Scotland's smaller radio stations – broadcasting to an audience of under 300,000 adults – are being invited to compete for a shortlisted place at the Sony Radio Academy Awards, the industry's most prestigious UK awards.
Entries are being sought for the Scotland category of the awards, with similar initiatives taking place throughout the UK's other 'nations and regions'.
Last year, Inverness-based Moray Firth Radio beat off the challenge of Central FM and Shmu FM to win the Scotland section, then to go forward to the Sony finals and end up winning the UK-wide title.
The deadline for entries is the 29th of next month, with details on how to enter to be found here.
