An online production journalist at STV has been appointed news editor at radio station, Kingdom FM.
Jennifer Crichton provides news for STV from Edinburgh and the east of Scotland, having joined the Glasgow-based broadcaster a year ago from the Scottish Ambulance Service, where she was a communications officer. She began her career at Tay FM, where she was a reporter and newsreader.
Her career also includes a communication job with NUS Scotland, plus a reporting/newsreading spell at the now defunct all-speech Edinburgh radio station, talk107.
She begins at Kingdom at the end of next month, after she returns from honeymoon, following her marriage – on Saturday – to Iain Gibson, press manager for the Scottish Conservative MPS' Group.
