Falkirk-based commercial radio station, Central FM, has appointed a new programme controller.
Joe Kilday, who recently returned to Central FM to co-host the station’s breakfast show, started in the new position yesterday.
He takes over from Gary Muircroft, who – as allmediascotland last month reported – left Central FM to head up Aberdeen-based radio station, Northsound.
Kilday has so far enjoyed two decades in broadcasting, working for the likes Scot FM (now Real Radio) and Clyde 1, as well as doing voiceover work for several television channels, including Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel.
