A trio of iPhone apps – for the Scotland-based outlets of the Real, Smooth and Rock radio brands – have been launched.
Say owners, GMG Radio, the apps will enable users to listen, buy music and interact with the stations.
All three apps are free through Apple's App Store and are available for the iPhone, iPod and iPad, using 'Smooth Radio', 'Real Radio' or 'Rock Radio' as the search words.
Featuring ‘background listening’, the apps give listeners the opportunity to buy music the station is playing or to tell a friend via email of a specific track they have heard. They allow access to a wide range of Real, Smooth and Rock Radio’s website content including competitions, news, quizzes and galleries and will send alerts for the latest news, information and competitions direct to the users device.
Listeners will also be able to set a reminder so they can be alerted before their favourite show starts.
