A former reporter and presenter with STV has joined the news team at a trio of Scottish commercial radio stations.
Vicky Lee joins GMG Radio Scotland and the 30 year-old will be reporting on and reading the news for GMG Radio Scotland’s three stations, Real Radio, Smooth Radio and 96.3 Rock Radio.
Lee started her career at radio station, Q96, now 96.3 Rock Radio, before moving on to work as news editor and presenter on Beat 106 which then became XFM Scotland (and is now Galaxy Radio). Her work at STV was for the five thirty show, which last year became The Hour. She has most recently been working freelance.
Says Heather Kane, news editor for GMG Radio Scotland: “We’re pleased to welcome Vicky to the news team, here at GMG Radio Scotland. Vicky joins us with a wealth of experience in broadcast journalism and we look forward to working with her, as we continue to seek out and break the news stories most important to the listeners of Real, Rock and Smooth Radio, across Central Scotland.”
