A SHOWCASE of films and TV programmes made by Edinburgh-based producers and directors continues this week with a celebration of the work of a company specialising in stop-frame animation.
Three films made by Ko Lik Films are to be screened at the Edinburgh Filmhouse on Wednesday evening, as part of the Made in Edinburgh series – with the people behind the company then taking part in a Q&A session afterwards.
Among the films being screened is Haunted Hogmanay, which was commissioned by BBC Scotland, broadcast on Hogmanay three years ago, and features the voices of, among others, well-known Scots actors, Alex Norton and Peter Capaldi.
Ko Lik Films was formed six years aho by screenwriter and producer Cameron Fraser and animation director and Edinburgh College of Art graduate, Neil Jack.
The studio’s work has been screened around the world, winning awards in Scotland, Nashville, Karachie, Austin and Japan.
