UNIVERSITY and college students who are studying film and television are being invited to enter awards being run by the Royal Television Society.
Seeking entries in the likes of factual television and animation, the Society says that “work should display outstanding visual and aural creativity, a mastery of craft skills, innovation and initiative”.
The categories include:
Animation: cartoons, graphics, electronically generated or experimental images
Factual: presented in a documentary or reporting style; news, social issues, specialist or popular factual
Fiction: live action narrative; drama, comedy, experimental
Entertainment/factual entertainment: entertainment; factual, music, magazine shows.
The deadline is a week on Friday.
