Late arrivals at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh on Sunday may find one of the cinema’s ushers more interested in what’s up on the big screen than what seats are empty. Because, on Sunday, as part of a film festival dedicated to cycling, usher, Louis Paxton, has a short film showing.
Paxton – recently a student at local college, Telford, and hoping to study digital film and TV at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama – has produced a 12-minute film appearing during the festival.
‘Bike Thief’ is described as a “mockumentary” about a fictional bike thief in the capital.
