FIRSTLY, and as announced, here, by STV, the managing director of STV Productions is leaving.
Says a media statement issued by STV, Alan Clements is departing early May.
The statement says: “Alan was appointed director of Content in 2008 and since then he has transformed the business into a multi-genre production company supplying all the major UK networks and international customers.”

ALSO moving on is Rosemary Gallagher, who has left her role as head of Communications at the Scotch Whisky Association, to go freelance.
She has been freelancing for a range of outlets, including Business Insider and The Times.
She is available for both freelance journalism and PR.
Her previous roles include: personal finance editor, The Scotsman; business news editor, Scotland on Sunday and senior media relations officer at The Scottish Parliament.
