VERY widely reported: Binge-watching television shows is becoming the most common way to take in our favourite programmes.
Among those reporting, the BT website says (here): “Research by telecoms firm, ARRIS, found that 67 per cent of the UK admits to binge-watching a TV show, with the average person doing so for more than three hours a week. More than half (61 per cent) also choose to do it alone, taking advantage of the increasingly personal nature of many online streaming and catch-up services.”

THE Herald is reporting: “The Scottish Government will scrutinise plans for a £140m film studio which developers want to build outside Edinburgh.
“PSL Land Ltd wants to built a major film studio complex at Straiton to the south of Edinburgh.
“It had previously written to the government to ‘call in’ and review its planning application on the grounds that a planning decision has been delayed by Midlothian Council.
“This was rejected, but on appeal, the Government will now re-assess the plans.”
