SOME of the best-known names in the world of advertising and marketing are among the nominees in a competition celebrating the best of Scots creativity.
The shortlist for this year’s Scottish Creative Awards includes – among many, many others – the likes of The Union, threebrand, Frame and STV Creative.
The awards are run by the publisher of The Drum media and marketing magazine, with the winners to be announced on October 8, in Glasgow.

EDINBURGH Festival shows staged by Irish companies can expect to be showcased on a dedicated internet channel launched yesterday and being run from the Summerhall arts hub in the Scottish capital.
www.artinireland.tv is the latest project from www.summerhall.tv – which also operates www.artinscotland.tv, www.craftscotland.tv and www.writerstories.tv and provides media graduates with an opportunity to develop their skills.
