PAISLEY’S Kibble Education and Care Centre has been presented with a top award for the way the organisation is run.
Kibble received a Committed to Excellence Two-Star accolade at the recent Scottish Awards for Business Excellence.
The awards were organised by Quality Scotland, who provide expertise and encouragement to help businesses constantly improve.
The Committed to Excellence Awards are based on the European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model recognising good working practice and helping businesses and organisations improve how they operate.
After making a written submission for the award, Kibble was then inspected by Quality Scotland on behalf of the EFQM.
Steve Warner is Kibble’s support services quality assurance manager, who said:
“We found the preparation and submission process a very worthwhile exercise that helped us systematically list and categorise each of the different activities we undertake on a day-to-day basis.
“The inspection itself was also a good way to validate our processes and practices in our current quality assurance systems.
“Achieving the Committed to Excellence Two-Star Award gives the staff at Kibble the recognition they deserve for the excellent work they do.”
