ROMANES Media Group is seeking to appoint a senior journalist as News Editor for its Clyde Weekly Press titles.
We are looking for someone with creativity, drive and experience to play an important role within our team of journalists based in Clydebank.
The challenging position demands a portfolio of personal and professional skills, including a highly developed news sense, proven ability in on-screen make-up, the drive to set the local news agenda, excellent writing skills and the people skills necessary to help motivate and manage a talented reporting team.
This key post offers a team player, with commensurate vocational qualifications, an opportunity for further professional development and a potential springboard to future advancement within the company’s newspaper stables.
The successful candidate will also be required to write for our newspapers and will help cover for editors in their absence.
