The post holder will manage corporate media queries relating to Police Scotland as an organisation, working with the Senior Command Team and Divisional Commanders as required, and liaising with other partners as required. They will also be responsible for the setting and delivery of an integrated proactive communications strategy for the national policing portfolios, working with the relevant senior officers and staff to deliver a strategy that supports the policing purpose of Keeping People Safe. You will also lead on the delivery of communications toolkits to support local policing priorities where required. You will support Police Scotland Corporate Communications in major event and incident response and contribute to an out of hours media on call rota.
