THE presenter of the BBC Radio Scotland Call Kaye morning phone-in show, Kaye Adams, is to remain with it, one day a week, while making a return to the ITV daytime programme, Loose Women.
Earlier today, it was announced that Adams and TV presenter, Coleen Nolan, are to join the programme, with Adams sharing the role of anchor with Carol Vorderman and Andrea McLean.
For Adams, it is a return to a programme which she helped found.
An ITV media release quotes her, as saying: “I felt privileged to have been one of the original Loose Women and now feel doubly privileged to be invited back six years on. Loose women is perhaps the only show on which you can be unapologetically female… smart, sassy, sometimes stroppy, sometimes silly but always straight talking. It’s the world and what matters in it through a female prism, a perspective we don’t see or hear enough of, and I can’t wait to play my part again.”
On BBC Radio Scotland, she is to present a phone-in programme every Friday renamed from Call Kaye to, perhaps, Morning Call, every Friday – from the New Year. It is understood she will be remaining with the programme as it currently stands until Christmas.
