AN Aberdeen company will mark the beginning of a new era with a special seminar at next month’s Offshore Europe event in Aberdeen.
To celebrate the re-launch of its key software product Promanade now rebranded as Author, Mandos Software is offering expert advice and market leading solutions for improving corporate memory retention to delegates.
On Thursday, September 5th visitors to the biennial event at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre will be able to take part in a seminar which will invite them to examine key business issues in today’s marketplace.
The session – which will run from 10.45am until 11.45am – will zoom in on some crucial factors in today’s HR marketplace such as staff retention, the shortage of qualified and experienced personnel and the challenge of consistently meeting client requirements.
The seminar will explain how defining and communicating business processes to staff and clients is key to retaining an organisation’s ‘corporate memory’.
Leading the event will be renowned Glasgow-based HR expert, Janette Young, a highly-experienced practitioner who has worked for organisations across the globe during a career spanning more than three decades, latterly with Motorola and National Semiconductor.
In addition to extensive work in complex change management programmes, Janette has also been involved in career and talent management and specialises in leadership, personal and professional development.
Janette said: “This seminar will introduce delegates to simple and cost-effective business solutions software, retaining the corporate memory for each business function and increasing understanding of how clearly-defined processes leads to consistency and compliance.
“It will also enable participants to reduce risk, leading to improvement and innovation in operational performance.”
Mandos Software founding director, Peter Fraser, added: “We are delighted that we have secured an esteemed and high profile speaker for what promises to be a session packed with excellent information and guidance.
“Using Janette’s wealth of in-depth HR experience gained in various settings, this seminar aims to define current problems and unlock solutions and we feel that her expertise will inspire delegates to think about their businesses in a new way.”
