A MONTHLY energy supplement in The Press and Journal newspaper has got itself a website offshoot.
Energy Voice, has – says its publishers, DC Thomson – “a dedicated team of reporters”, to provide “more industry sector news than ever before, including enhanced coverage of the renewables sector and global energy news”.
In a DC Thomson media release, Energy Voice editor, Iain Hepburn, is quoted, as saying, “Energy Voice benefits from a number of industry experts who contribute unique content each week to the site, commenting and analysing industry sector issues as and when they happen. Jeremy Cresswell, who edits The Press and Journal’s energy supplement, and reporter Alex Holmes will also contribute informative editorial content to the site on a regular basis.
“Energy Voice will continue to expand during 2013 and beyond; in particular, a number of key industry partners have agreed to contribute expansive news content in their respective fields of operation. We aim to double the growth of the site over the coming year and become the one-stop-shop for the energy industry.”
Content is a mix of free and subscription-based.
Hepburn is formerly of the Daily Record, STV and Abu Dhabi-based The National.
