THE Scotsman Publications’ photographer, Ian Rutherford, has been named a winner at a media awards ceremony celebrating the best of the regional Press.
Ian Rutherford has taken the Daily/Sunday Photographer of the Year at the Regional Press Awards, run by the Society of Editors.
And he was joined among the winners by David Hamburgh, at the Edinburgh Evening News (part of The Scotsman Publications Ltd stable) and named Designer of the Year.
Meanwhile, The Herald’s Simon Bain was highly commended in the Business and Finance Journalist of the Year category. And Gina Davidson – also at the Edinburgh Evening News and last month chosen as Journalist of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards – was highly commended in Scoop of the Year.
Also highly commended was Dundee’s Evening Telegraph newspaper, in the Daily/Sunday Newspaper (Below 25,000) section.
