A TWO-part TV documentary, tracking participants in an initiative to encourage entrepreneurship in Scotland, is to be repeated.
Made by TVI, The Entrepreneurs is to be shown on Monday and Tuesday (both at 1900 hours), on BBC TWO Scotland.
Says TVI’s Maurice Smith: “We have had excellent informal feedback from people who watched the programme first time round. During the first programme, The Entrepreneurs trended on Twitter, and it seems to have attracted a lot of social media comment.
“This is much more than a business programme. It’s about the very human stories behind people who attempt start-ups. It’s often a deeply personal experience, and I think viewers have empathised with that.”
The documentary followed the fortunes of Entrepreneurial Spark – a social enterprise ‘accelerator’ founded by ex-policeman, Jim Duffy, in Glasgow two years ago, and which has since expanded into Ayrshire and Edinburgh.
The Entrepreneurs was produced and directed by Matt Pinder, while Smith was executive producer.
