It has been designed to complement the tour by assisting customers in getting the most out of their visit. Information on what to see and do at each stop has been researched thoroughly to benefit the user’s tour experience.
The www.bigbustours.com app uses their signature 3D map artwork and also integrates with Apple/Google maps for precise stop locations. It provides the user with interactive information on the best of each city’s attractions, landmarks, shopping and dining, encouraging customers to get off the bus to explore the city.
The www.bigbustours.com/app provides a destination overview so the user gets a taster of what is on offer in other destinations. This will encourage customers to keep the app on their mobile devices, helping develop international recognition of the Big Bus brand.
Andy McIntyre from Big Bus Tours highlights the growing trend in mobile web usage: “The number of mobile-connected devices will exceed the world’s population this year and due to increased usage on smartphones, handsets will exceed 50 per cent of mobile data traffic.
