THE editor of the Sunday Herald, Richard Walker, is the new chair of the active Journalists’ Charity branch in Scotland: Glasgow and West of Scotland.
He succeeds David Dinsmore, the former editor of The Scottish Sun, who is now based in London, following a couple of promotions within the paper’s publisher, News International.
The branch is arguably best known for its annual Press Ball, the next one of which is on March 2, with tables of ten costing just £550.
