A FORMER PR manager with the tourism agency, VisitScotland, has launched her own strategic communications business.
Kirsty Innes is setting up on her own after more than 14 years of working for a range of public and private sector organisations.
Most recently communications manager at CHILDREN 1st charity – from September 2011 to December last year – she will be specialising in tourism and lifestyle PR.
In a media statement, she said: “With my drive, creativity and strategic approach, I will work to ensure all of my clients achieve fantastic results that make a difference to their business objectives. They will also benefit from knowing that at all times they will receive support from a senior professional.”
She adds that she has already been appointed as an associate and PR specialist at Bright Signals, a ‘customer engagement consultancy’ led by digital marketing specialists and former heads of marketing at online publisher s1, David Craik and Ewan Colville.
Her sector experience includes tourism, events and festivals, food and drink, wildlife, further and higher education, and charity communications.
