A SERIES of newspaper launches being undertaken by the Scottish operation of Trinity Mirror has added another three to the roster this week.
On the back of recent relaunches of the Paisley Daily Express, Stirling Observer, Perthshire Advertiser, Lennox Herald, Strathearn Herald and Blairgowrie Advertiser, three Ayrshire titles have been relaunched.
Unfortunately for the Kilmarnock Standard, it resulted in a delay in printing; instead of the paper appearing last night, it came out at lunchtime today.
The other two titles are the Irvine Herald and Aryshire Post.
Says a Media Scotland spokesperson: “We’re delighted to be in the middle of the biggest relaunch in the history of Scottish local newspapers with new designs complementing great local content. As in any operation of this scale, there’s going to be a few bumps on the road. Magnificent effort from our team.”
