THE filmmaker behind a documentary about the US businessman, Donald Trump, and his controversial golf development in Aberdeenshire, is reportedly vowing he won’t necessarily be repeating the exercise.
Reports The Herald, Anthony Baxter says he “learned the hard way what it takes to make a feature documentary, after being arrested, forced to re-mortgage his house and having to personally call cinemas to have [his documentary] screened”.
Adds the paper: “Mr Baxter, a former BBC TV producer, spoke as the Scot’s film, You’ve Been Trumped…opened in the US yesterday.”
Baxter is quoted, as saying: “It has been very difficult – I wouldn’t necessarily want to do it again. But it’s so important that we hold people in power to account, as journalists and filmmakers.”
