ACTING on behalf of accountancy firm Ernst & Young, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has set a closing date of tomorrow (Thursday 30 September) for the sale of two commercial buildings in Kirkwall, Orkney.
The first property is a commercial warehouse and yard on Skua Road, Hatston Industrial Estate, Kirkwall. This is a significant industrial hanger extending to 18,871 sq ft on a 1.08 acre site.
The second property, situated on Scott’s Road, also on Hatston Industrial Estate, are suitable for a variety of commercial uses. Located on a 0.3 acre site, the property offers 5,575 sq ft of office, showroom and workshop accommodation on a prominent corner location within the island’s main industrial estate.
Sandy Rennie, head of Shepherd’s commercial department in Inverness, said: “Due to the level of interest shown in these properties, we have set a closing date of tomorrow for interested parties to express an interest. It is clear from the interest shown in these properties that there is a buoyant demand on Orkney for good quality commercial buildings.”
Offers in excess of £225,000 are invited for the heritable interest in the Skua Road property whilst offers in excess of £125,000 are invited for the property on Scott’s Road.
