THE Scotsman and The Herald newspapers each do best in Scotland on Fridays, according to new figures made public by the sales auditing body, the Audit Bureau of Circulation.
Says ABC – in figures released on Monday – The Scotsman sells 103.1 per cent of its average daily sale in Scotland on Friday, while The Herald sells 105.5 per cent. Both papers include recruitment sections in their Friday editions.
With 97.7 per cent of its average daily sale in Scotland, The Scotsman does ‘least well’ on a Wednesday. For The Herald, it is 97.4 per cent on a Monday.
