A SURVEY of the training needs of members of the National Union of Journalists has been launched by the union’s Scottish branch.
Says the NUJ: “The NUJ training project has successfully provided a range of courses to meet the needs of the industry for the last ten years. To ascertain the relevance of our itinerary and to formulate our future strategy on training, we are carrying out a training needs analysis among members in Scotland.
“In the current climate it is essential the union and members stay ahead of the game identifying new technology and developments, which employers might see as ways of cutting jobs or increasing productivity.”
