A PHOTOGRAPH of The Beatles larking about in a Paris hotel 48 years ago has been chosen by its Scots photographer, Harry Benson, as his favourite.
It appears in a book of photographers nominating a piece of their own work as their favourite.
In a double-page spread by Brian McIvor, in today’s Daily Record, Benson is quoted as saying: “The picture means something to me, it meant I was going to America with The Beatles.”
The book – ‘Behind Photographs: Archiving Photographic Legends’, by Tim Mantoani – also features, among others, Bill Eppridge (assassination of Robert Kennedy, June 1968) and Neil Leifer (Ali v Liston, May 1965).
