A DJ on Real Radio is returning to his hospital radio roots with an one-off being broadcast this evening.
Paul Harper will be broadcasting on Yorkhill Children’s Hospital Radio Station, in Glasgow – Radio Lollipop -between 6pm and 8pm.
In a statement, Harper is quoted, as saying: “I presented my first ever radio show when I was just 13 years-old at my local hospital radio station, so this is a real treat for me to go back to how it all started for me; hopefully, my chat’s a bit better now than it was then.
“On a serious note, I think the job Radio Lollipop does is just fantastic. I don’t think we can quantify the happiness that just hearing your favourite song can bring when you are poorly and which undoubtedly helps raise sprits and aid recovery.”
