A TOTAL of 96 entries – from a longlist of 149 – have been chosen to compete for prizes at this year’s Scottish Magazine Awards.
Taking place on the 30th of next month, in Edinburgh, the awards are being run by the Professional Publishers Association.
The judges – led by Terry Mansfield of The Hearst Corporation – include Caroline Binnie, chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (Scotland), Murray Calder, chair of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (Scotland) and Pauline Miller Judd, Head of School, School of Arts & Creative Industries, Edinburgh Napier University.
Of the categories, three are new: magazine cover, digital magazine and digital strategy. One, meanwhile, has been re-introduced: brand extension.
