A series of Halloween and Christmas nights are expected to be sell-out shows for the recently-established events division of a Scottish media company.
The Big Scary Halloween Bash and the Magic of Christmas Show – taking place in Clydebank, Greenock and Dumbarton – will use the publicity of Clyde and Forth Media's newspapers, websites and its radio station, Your Radio, to generate interest.
They follow recent events, including a Question and Answer session with former Celtic footballer, John Hartson, which sold over 1,000 tickets and raised over £1,000 for Hartson's cancer foundation.
A similar night with former Rangers defender, Richard Gough, is planned, plus a wedding show and nights with psychic, Joan Charles.
Clyde and Forth Media editorial manager Tom McConigley, told allmediascotland.com: “When you have established titles like the Greenock Telegraph or the Clydebank Post, then the spend on publicity in those respective towns is practically zero. And events are fed by publicity.”
The events division was formed a year ago.
A portion of the proceeds will be going to the When You Wish Upon a Star foundation.
