An annual awards ceremony recognising the 'best small radio station in the UK' has issued a call for entries.
The competition begins with the search taking place within each 'nation and region' of the UK, with the winner in each then going forward to compete for the UK prize at next year's Sony Radio Academy Awards.
In May, Scots station, Central FM, picked up the UK prize at the Sonys. By 'small', it is broadcasing to a potential adult population of under 300,000.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday, November 9.
