An Edinburgh-based communications agency has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with a Scottish Football League club.
The name of Figure 11 Communications will appear on the shirt next season of Stenhousemuir FC, who play in Division Two.
Figure 11 specialises in public relations, political relations, community consultations, social media and strategic advice.
The sponsorship deal is for one year.
In a Figure 11 statement, director, Iain McMenemy, is quoted, as saying: “Club manager, Davie Irons, is building a solid team for the forthcoming season that includes a bedrock of existing quality players, supplemented by some new blood that he has brought into the line-up. We are confident that the club will have a great season ahead and we are delighted to be on board.”
He continued: “As well as the senior football squad, we were particularly impressed with the work that Stenhousemuir has been doing within their local community. Not only do they run a number of youth development teams, they also run dozens of other football sessions for players of all ages and abilities. They offer after-school football to seventeen local schools and they are involved with drop-in initiatives such as their Twilight Leagues.”
