One of Scotland's best-known communications agencies is celebrating the winning of two high-profile PR contracts.
DADA has been appointed to create and deliver the PR and marketing activity for Lerwick, Shetlands, leg of next year's Tall Ships Races and has been re-appointed to deliver the PR and online marketing for the 2010 Royal National Mod.
Says Oli Norman, managing director of DADA: “This has been a very successful year for DADA so far with lots of high profile client wins such as The Tall Ships Races and lots of repeat business such as the Royal National Mod 2010. We’ve also been busy with our own projects through our Ventures division with events such as GLAM in the City and Festival in the Sky creating headlines throughout the summer.”
Lerwick is to welcome the Tall Ships fleet between July 21 and 24 next year, after the non-competitive 'Cruise in Company' between Greenock and Lerwick taking place from July 12-21. It is to be the starting port for Race Two, between Lerwick and Stavanger, Norway.
Following an intensive pitch process involving a number of competing communication firms in the UK, the appointment marks the start of a ten-month PR campaign, supported by marketing activity, for The Tall Ships Races 2011-Lerwick.
In addition to its new business, DADA enjoys long-term relationships with prestigious brands such as Hilton Worldwide; food giant, Domino’s Pizza; and the SLTN award-winning pub operator, Maclay Inns.
