A former reporter at the Evening Express newspaper in Aberdeen is one of two new appointments at one of Scotland's leading public relations consultancies.
Sarah Durno – who has more recently been a senior communications officer at Aberdeen City Council and a press officer at VisitScotland – has joined the Aberdeen office of Weber Shandwick.
Durno has been taken on as an account manager, as has Kate Davidson, who joins from local agency, Tricker PR.
Says Moray Macdonald, deputy managing director of Weber Shandwick: “Kate and Sarah bring diversity and a wealth of experience to our expanding northern offices. The appointment of two account managers is instrumental to the future of Weber Shandwick and testament to the increase in business. Their combined PR expertise will be a valuable asset to all our clients, as we continue to bring the best and most creative consultants to Weber Shandwick.”
