Free training in video journalism is being offered in Aberdeen to members of the National Union of Journalists, as part of a programme to help print journalists make the move into other types of media.
The 'digital convergence' training is also being accompanied by training on how to become a more effective freelancer and on how to build a website.
As the courses are being externally funded – including from the Scottish Trades Union Congress – is no cost to members and the NUJ even provides equipment, refreshments and lunch.
The courses on offer are:
Digicon 1 and Short Features for the Web August 19-22
The Effective Freelancer August 27 and 28
Dreamweaver Website development August 23 and 24.
