AFTER17 years at GMTV, Scots-born broadcaster and journalist, Lorraine Kelly, could be heading for the BBC, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The paper’s showbusiness editor, Sara Nathan, claims Kelly is being lined up to take over from Christine Bleakley on BBC TV’s One Show should she move to a new ITV breakfast show, which will launch in September, where she would be reunited with Adrian Chiles.
At GMTV, Kelly is reported to have been offered a new live show to run alongside the revamped breakfast programme but has yet to sign the deal.
Kelly currently divides her time between her home in Broughty Ferry – where she lives with her husband, Steve Smith, and their 16 year-old daughter Rosie – and London.
