AT almost £200 million, the Saville Inquiry into the Bloody Sunday massacre of civil rights marchers in Northern Ireland nearly 40 years ago, is an expensive piece of work.
At 5,000 pages long, that’s a fair price per page. Except that one newspaper this morning has the report running to a relatively modest, er….5,000 words.
Must have been a wishful-thinking freelancer who had penned the piece.
