AMONG those present to witness yesterday’s historic win by Scotland’s rugby team in Argentina was Scotland on Sunday’s Iain Morrison, whose ‘Argentina Diary’ told the tale of the hack waking up ahead of catching an early morning taxi to the venue.
Since the taxi had been booked for 6.15am and the clock in the room said 5.30am, the hack proceeded to shower, before going down to the hotel reception to pay his bill.
At which point, he was told it was two in the morning. “I won’t make the same mistake again,” he wrote.
